When im trying to create a model for a triangle fence, with a hole in the middle, u should be able to walk into the hole. but its blocked like. model blocks me and when i shoot at the air in the hole, it gives same result as if i shoot at the model.
And doing this way
Program: 3ds Max 2010
Using collision model and the normal model
Thats it
Any ideas? |

ok u then know a plce where i can get Autodesk Softimage 6.0 can only find 7.5 |

You never said if it was source or not but I think this was your problem just for anyone who strolls across this,
if the compiler makes a beep noise it means that your phys model isn't compiling and it will generate it's own one which is just going to be the shape of your model's exterior no matter what holes are in it.
You can fix it by just remaking it usually.

Sounds like an issue with the collision model, maybe he didn't do it right or didn't make the collision model concave or something.
