Hiya Fellas!
I have been trying to learn to use Zbrush several times already but it never worked out for me. Zclassroom taught me how to do certain things but I never really got good, clean results when trying. Now A few days ago I found some new video tutorials in the Zclassroom that were exactly what I needed. They focussed on hard edged environment work. Which is the stuff I want to know
Anyway I have been practicing ever since. Here are some of the results of my Zbrush doodling. They are still a bit messy and have obvious flaws, but I'm getting used to using the program plus I'm actually having fun!
Door:
100% done in Zbrush. Even managed to use some custom Alphas

Pilar
Uses a simple mesh I imported. For some reason the Zbrush 3d cube wouldn't stay sqaure even though I put in the same value for x and y.

Arch
Also 100% done in Zbrush. I wanted to give the sides some more detail but through the way I've made them the polygons were all stretched.

Deco
First time I imported a more complicated model. Which turned out to be alot more work then I thought. But I think the result actally looks pretty good from far away, or if you have your eyes half open.

Roof
Actually wanted to use this one to bake a normal map but because of how it turned out I decided against it. I like the looks of it, it just should't have roof tiles on both sides lol

EDIT:
oh Bugger! I just noticed I posted it in the wrong section. Spine, please move!

Yeah not your average Zbrush bumped up organic stuff.
Great work Corey, the roof looks sweet, keep working.

Pixelogic seems very keen on getting their users to learn the program.

Why would you download them? They load pretty fast here.
Anyway...
Today's Zsculpts:
Fising Trawler:
This was for a speedtexturing contest. As you have only 120 min for the whole process I kept the sculpting simple. Unfortunately I noticed too late that the UV's are all screwed and overlapping. So I'll probably have to redo it tomorrow. Or just go without sculpting.

Column:
The tutorial has a similiar model somewhere in the back. I got inspired and wanted to give it a try myself.

Deco block:
Wanted to give the deco thingy another try. Came out more clean this time.

And here is the result in UT3. Came out pretty nice considering the lowpoly is really un detailed and I didn't do any extra texture work.

Just one sculpt today, was a bit busy:

I baked Normal for this but they didn't look very good. I think it has something to do with the base model changing when sculpting.
