I will update this as I go a long, it will take some time to finnish though...
Skinning Sam's Panther mdl.
Gonna make the first skin in the most common design wich was roughly this sandy
color with zimmerit, but planning on making a green and a white winter model aswell.
Only done the wheels and belt, started to adjust the uw baked shadows on the rest.
Will add dirt and wear in the finnishing stages.
A few small issues that I will have to talk with Sam about but it's pretty straight forward atm.
Click for massive size.

Should look something like this ref. allthough this has no zimmerit on it.

O M F G ! ! Those wheels are exactly what I wanted to do on the version I started.
Any chance you could give me some tips or a psd so I can figure out how you did it?

Well not much to tip about realy, it's basicaly just to draw what you see on a ref.
Shadows, mostly so far, I like adding highlights to everything when I'm close to finnished.
(I guess I could send you my psd for the wheels.)

Just an update.
I encountered a few small things that Sam is looking into atm so actually
it's on hold for now.
But I could not stop myself just trying on some camo, it will all change
when I get the new uw though.

Nice work, I'm loving it, the Zimmerit looks superb!
I'm so going to have to get around to actually trying to make some Zimmerit that looks good.

Yeah Roke1, I got the model back from Sam and basically it's just up to me.
I just have to find time to do it.
It should not be to long I hope...

Just so you know it's not dead...
Had to start from scratch on most of the hull after Sam did some changes,
which I asked for though, so he's of the hook on that issue...
Detailing the engine lid thing atm, will add dirt to mostly cover the parts wich are not modeled but only drawn on the skin.
Just want to give a hint of the shapes that are there originaly.
Damn this takes time...

Thanks
The mesh is.. well 1 pixel lines with 1 pixel spacing across each other realy.
Vary the opacity level on the top set of lines compaired to the bottom, but it's nothing fancy realy.
I guess you want the psd then? Only thing is I work in stages, so when I get to a
certain stage I save it with a new number then merge most layers and continue.
That means either I send you all 15 psd's for the hull and 10 for the turret or
you get a psd with just the few latest layers...

Finaly finnished with the detailing of parts... I think...
Just started on adding dirt, at the back first.
Will adjust the layers a bit I think but this is how far I got today.
Adding the dirt on top of the color layer so it does not get affected as much by
the base color, I want to be able to swap colors to a white and green edition to.
