A fresh new site supporting non profit game production.
Are you working on a small mod team, or maybe alone on a project?
Are you making a custom map for a mod or a game?
Do you want to find a project to work with, or just want to share your skills?
This could be the site you need...
TextureHub is based on a swapping concept, lets say you know how to model
but don't know how to skin, or you know how to map but don't know
how to make a certain texture.
The idea is that you post/upload something or pick up a request
from a member that can in return help you with what you need.
Swapping skills if you like.
TextureHub would also like to host map props or textures etc.
that you would like to share with the comunity.
This could also make your identity and skills known to others and
may lead to more work if thats what you want.
You can upload a batch of your earlier work to make a sort of portfolio
for users to get familiar with your style of work.
TextureHub will focus on environment textures and skinning to start off,
but 3d modeling and mapping could be covered if we get the right staff and members.
TextureHub let's the members control a lot of the sites assets themselves,
like adding your links, posting news and uploading your own images.
Everything will be controled by an admin but as long as it's within the
games category and a benefit for the members it will be accepted.
This is all very early days and only time will tell if it's a good idea,
but give it a chance and hang in there, things might happen.
