11.04.08 the Carpathian Crosses beta1 was released, a mod for Red Orchestra
giving you the possibility to play as the Romanian army in WW2.
Here are just some of the features you'll find in the first beta release:
- Eight new player classes with appropriate gear and uniforms; including the Soviet
Black Sea Naval infantry.
- A total of 9 new weapons and 2 new tanks.
- A detailed mortar crewman - spotter system to facilitate tactical mortar gameplay.
- Lots of improvements to the tank system.
- Combined arms, tank and infantry only maps (5 in total).
- Full support for custom mappers.
- Integrated with standard Red Orchestra.
