Well guys, here is a chance to play the alpha release of RnL and give us some feedback.
However, be aware that the game at this stage is very small compared to what we have promised.
This is partly due to thousands of development mistakes over the years, and cleaning up broken code.
We just ask that you take the mod for what it is at this stage, and offer your opinion on it's direction.
I had 30-40 min. playtest, and here's my thoughts:
The game looks good, as you know if you've followed the development,
but also 'feels' good. By that I mean it's got a captivating movement
sway that does make you feel more like you are walking but not so much that
you get motion sickness. And the environment looks realistic, well belivable anyway.
I am shure that for those of you who are weapon fanatics, you will get your dose of
"ooooh's and aaaaah's" they shure look sweet!
I do think however that they have some work to do with some of the weapons regarding
the "cone of fire" but I am shure that will be delt with in the future.
The biggest difference between this mod and, let's say something like DoD is the freedom
of movement I think. There is limits off course, but quite big open play aerias.
The game is also very slow paced compaired to something like DoD, you have a
squad leader and sticking with him improves your teams chances for winning.
For this to work, it requiers someone with good knowledges of the map and a good mic.
When I gave it a test there where a few good leaders there so everything worked as "planned"
but I do think it could collaps as soon as you get someone in charge that don't realy care
about tactics. But that is left for me to experience.
Climbing is a very good adition to games and it feels like they've got it nailed nicely in this mod,
it realy gives a new dimension to a map. I tried to climb everywhere just to see if I could find
a new route, and I did find a few. :)
I honestly think this game has good potential to be a popular WW2 mod, it has issues shure but
these are small and can be fixed. If you get into the game now and share your feedback
you could help to shape this game into your favorit.
So if you like more realistic tacticts than GO GO GO this could be your lucky day!

It does not have to, but yeah as it always is with games,
it's not real, so you have to balance the game with different + and - to make it perform the way you want.
I dont mind that it feels a bit clunky and that aiming and reloading takes a while, it slow's the gamepace down, but it's the same for everyone. That's what makes it feel "real" imo.
There is room for more than one style of fps gameplay on steam. |

It totally took me out of the game tbh \: i was constantly trying to do something that it would not let me do. I dont think real means slow and clunky tbh. If anything "real" should be smooth and very intuitive. |

Nah HaJ Is very open and just a tad slower gameplay than most other WW2 games imo, it's the perfect mod... |
